At VSD Enterprises, we strive to ensure total customer satisfaction with our 3D printing, rapid prototyping, and industrial solutions. Because our services involve custom manufacturing and specialized industrial equipment, the following policy outlines the terms for cancellations and refunds.

1. Cancellation Policy

A. Service-Based Orders (3D Printing, CAD/CAM, Prototyping):

Before Production: You may cancel your order within [e.g., 12-24] hours of placement or until the design has been approved for printing. If production (slicing, machine setup, or material preparation) has not yet begun, a full refund will be issued.

After Production Starts: Once the 3D printing or fabrication process has commenced, orders cannot be cancelled. Because these are custom-made items tailored to your specific CAD data, they hold no resale value.

B. Hardware & Equipment Orders (3D Printers, Scanners, Materials): Orders for hardware and machinery can be cancelled before the item has been dispatched from our facility or our partner’s warehouse. Cancellations made after the item has shipped will be treated as a "Return" (see Section 2).

2. Refund Policy

A. Custom Fabricated Parts: Due to the bespoke nature of 3D printing and rapid prototyping:
Refunds are not provided for custom parts unless there is a manufacturing defect or the part significantly deviates from the approved CAD specifications. Minor surface finish variations or aesthetic characteristics inherent to the selected 3D printing technology (e.g., FDM layer lines) do not qualify for a refund.

B. Hardware & Consumables:
Unopened Items: Hardware and materials (filaments, resins, etc.) can be returned within 7 days of delivery, provided they are in their original, unopened packaging.
Opened/Used Items: For safety and quality reasons, we cannot accept returns on opened consumables (filaments/resins).

3. Defective or Non-Conforming Goods

If you receive a product that is damaged during transit, defective, or does not meet the technical specifications agreed upon:
1. Notify us within 24hrs of receipt at info@vsd3d.com.
2. Provide photos/videos of the defect and the packaging.
3. Resolution: At our discretion, we will either re-print the part at no additional cost, repair the hardware, or issue a full/partial refund.

4. Refund Processing

Once a refund is approved, it will be processed through the original method of payment.
Timeline: Refunds typically reflect in your account within 7–10 business days, depending on your bank or payment gateway.
Shipping Costs: Original shipping fees are non-refundable. For hardware returns, the customer is responsible for return shipping costs unless the item arrived damaged.

Customization: In case of Government or defence (PSUs) Purchase Orders (PO) terms & conditions mentioned in the purchase order take precedence over website policy wherever applicable.
